Well, my old friend the Navy and I have been reacquainted. Not much to report, but I can tell you that I was quickly reminded why I left! We are in the in-processing stage of the deployment. We have been fitted for dessert camouflage uniforms and body armor, and are getting pay, final medical and dental wrap ups taken care of . I took a picture from the roof of my barracks, I don't know which ships are in port, but the photo turned out kind of cool. I will post later when there is more to report!

I agree the picture is cool...Do you know when you are being deployed yet??? We sure are proud of you and will keep you, the family and your crew in our prayers.
Hey look at it this way, at least right now you are away from the nasty old winter weather...
